Open Gym

Access our equipment and workout at your own pace.

Open gym is a chance to perform independent training at Shapesmiths. It is an opportunity to practice skills that you feel need extra work (i.e. muscle-ups, double-unders, pistols, chest-to-bar pull-ups, toes-to-bar, ring dips, etc.), practice and refine the Olympic Lifts (Cleans, Snatches, Jerks), and perform basic lifts (Squats, Presses, Deadlifts, etc.) to improve strength.

Space dependent you can also catch up on a Shapesmiths WOD from earlier in the week or, with prior notice, hit a qualifier WOD for that competition that you have entered. We love it when you communicate with us and let us know what you have got going on and what your goals are.

Members of Shapesmiths also have the opportunity to apply for out of hours open gym access. This essentially makes us able to positively affect the health of our members 24/7.
